Our in-house television channel – Jain TV – production house and teleport give us an extra edge over others in the realm of media education. The courses at NBA, Bachelors as well as Masters, are a perfect blend of theory and practicals, with special workshops conducted under the auspices of professional media persons. The Centre also offers short-term courses in TV reporting, anchoring, photography, and video editing.

Therefore, students, with the assistance of professionals, learn technicalities in a well-equipped TV studio, radio studio, PCR, MCR, editing suite etc. Centre’s News Broadcasting Team (NBT) produces news bulletins, feature programs, and documentaries, and the best of works get airtime on JAIN TV. While the print module pivots on the regular production of newspapers and magazines, the radio vertical equips students with broadcast skills to create and compose feature programs for the audio medium. With the advent of social media and multimedia journalism, equal time and space are accorded to these modules, too. As part of digital marketing, the students are instructed about SEO, SMM, SMO, Analysis etc. Centre’s media training and placement cell ensure that the students are given the best available opportunities to help them get a job easily. The NBA students have been previously placed at esteemed media organizations such as NDTV, Fever 104 FM White ladder and Perfect Relations to name a few. Besides theoretical and practical knowledge, the NBA also encourages its students to participate in programs on leading news channels such as News Nation, NDTV, India TV etc. where students get a sense of how a real news set up functions. Other than that, seasonal celebrations are always welcomed at NBA Group of Institutions. Green Diwali, Streetplay, Desi tadka, Halloween etc. are some of the several events NBA conducts to keep the students motivated. Alongside a rigorous curriculum, NBA takes care of students’ need to stay fit and healthy. Proper sports infrastructure is available on campus so as to help students avoid undue academic pressure. Proper arrangements have been made for students to play Table Tennis, cricket, football and other games. The institution has an experiential approach towards the ever-changing media industry. Keeping in mind the fast convergence, NBA is also introducing India’s first digital media program with integrated industry training. NBA Group of Institutions has an impressive history of training in audio-visual communication and broadcast journalism at par with industry requirements. Having a TV channel on campus gives us an edge over other institutions. Audio-visual Communication as a stream is undergoing a major convergence globally. Different media are converging on a digital platform redefining vocational positioning and intellectual relevance of audio-visual communication. With the rise of the digital medium, visual communication has evolved unimaginably in relation to culture and society. The programme offers two pathways of study: Content Creation in digital formats and Content Movement on digital platforms.

The NBA Broadcasting Team comprises experienced faculties who guide the selected group of students in the production of various bulletins and documentaries. These programmes are produced with the use of the latest equipment available in the studios on campus. The quality work gets featured on JAIN TV, giving students maximum exposure, appreciation, and encouragement. When it comes to practicals related to Print Media, students publish magazines and newspapers under the guidance of faculties. In addition, students are also trained for voice-overs, jingles and various radio programmes in the radio lab. Experienced and well-trained faculties guide them and help them create radio shows, ads, features, and docu-dramas.
