It is also accredited by AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and also UGC approved. CMR University offers a wide range of programmes both in undergraduate and postgraduate departments in the field of Architecture, Engineering & Technology, Legal Studies, Economics & Commerce, Management, Social Science and Humanities, Science Studies, Languages, etc. Other than these, it also offers a PhD in various disciplines.

• Streams/Branches: It offers E&C, EEE, CSE, ISE, Mech, Civil, MCA & MBA. Mechanical and Civil engineering are started in 2009 and 2011 respectively. That said these Branches are kind of new compared to other branches.
• Infrastructure: Though Mech branch was little new, There were no shortage of instruments in the labs or lecturers for that matter. Now they have separate building for Mechanical and Civil branch earlier they used fit them in some other branches classrooms.
• Cultural Activities: It organises fest called cultura every even sem for 2 days. Where it will have Fashion Show, Mad Ads, different cultural activities and it ends up with DJ. Once we had Sunburn band and next we had Raghu Dixit.
• Facilities: They have recently set up a workshop called Makerspace. which has 3D printer, wood cutting machine and different type tools. This is a good initiative where students can make use of it for their Projects or any ideas to bring out.
• Apart from that they have everything that students basically need viz. Labs, AV halls, Auditorium and Library.
• Library has very good ambience but the problem is they issue only 2 books and if you don't renew on time you have to pay hefty fine based on the days.
• Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and qualified. It is rare that we find a teacher who doesn't check all the boxes. The teaching quality can range from good to very good. Presentations are shown in the class to teach, which helps in giving students a better visual understanding of all the topics.
• Other : This college has one main event called Cultural. Colleges across the city try to be a part of this event. There are many fun activities and competitions, which allow students to showcase their talent. There are many clubs in the college. Many sports facilities are available for students to use.
