Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (DYPIMR), Pimpri, Pune established in the year 1994 has come a long way since its inception with a year on year growth and academic excellence. Patil Institute of Management & Research, Pimpri, Pune has recently been accorded an “A” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with CGPA of 3.29 on a four point scale. The Institute is also the proud recipient of National Board of Accreditation (NBA) reaccreditation in December 2016 for its MBA Programme valid till June 2019. DYPIMR offers Master of Business Administration(MBA) with an intake of 180 students and Master of Computer Applications(MCA) Programme with an intake of 60 students each year and is affiliated to the nationally renowned Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) ranked 10th All India by NIRF 2015.

MBA admission in Dr. DY Patil, Pune as a part of curriculum of MBA and MCA at DYPIMR students have to undergo pratical work experience training in company for two months in MBA and 6 months for MCA respectively. After completing of summer internship programme, the students are certified by the company. Accordingly students prepare the Project Report under the guidance of faculty members. The project report is presented before the team of Internal Experts. Finally, the university appoints the External Experts to evaluate the Project work by conducting the viva voce examination of the students. Thus project work is a minor research work of corporate problem done by the student.

Eligibility Criteria For MBA Admission

• Candidate should be an Indian National, appeared and qualified MAH-MBA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2019.
• In case Candidate qualify CMAT, CAT(conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in March 2019)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) produce Score Card for the same
• For open Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree
• For reserve Category - Candidate should pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelor’s degree

Additional Eligibility for admission to specialization in Hospital & Healthcare Management

Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the MBA Hospital & Health Systems Management Degree Courses Under Allied Health Sciences should have passed Degree in any one of the courses-viz.

• Medical- MBBS
• Indian Medicine- BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BNYS, BUMS
• Dental- BDS
• Allied Health Sciences- B.Sc. (N), B.Pharm., B.Sc. (MLT), BPT & BOT B. Sc

• AIU Equivalent Certificate (For NRI/PIO/FN Category) PIO or FN, who is studying for the qualifying examination in school / college located in India, is excluded
